Yaroslavsky, president of the Militant Godless Society, has ordered the intensification of the anti-religious war, declaring that religion is reviving under the guise of Communism, using slogans such as "with God and Communists we can upbuild socialism" and "Christ was the first Socialist." Yaroslavsky laments the wider celebration of Christnitis and the reopenling of churches.
