JOHNSONVILLE TOWN BOARD
A by-election was held in the Johnvine Town Board's district yesterday to fill the vacancy on the board caused by the resignation of Mr. V. A. Mills. The poll resulted in the election of Mr. F. G. Moles-worth with' a majority of 13 votes, the figures being as follows: — Frederick George Molesworth .. 156 William Robert Richardson 143 Kenneth Scott Gandy 80 Majority for Molesworth .. 13 The new commissioner is an employee of the Railways Department, and is secretary of the Johnsonville School Committee.
Davis Bros., auctioneers, will sell by public auction, at 1.30 p.m. on Thursday, at 196 Willis Street, household furniture, carpets, etc. Ramsey Wilson and Co. will sell the contents of a house at their auction rooms, 98 Manners Street, tomorrow, at 1.30 p.m.
