TOA HOCKEY CLUB
The annual meeting of the Toa Ladies' Hockey Club was wellattended. Mrs D Grosser, president, who was in the cliair" said that the credit balance, although not Jarge, was satisfactory despite the difficulties of the past season. The report stressed the point that if the club was to maintain its strength it was essential for .the young players of Porirua to give the club every support. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows:—Patron, Mrs. R. W. Bothamley; president, -Mrs. D. Prosser; vice-presidents, Lady Poniare, Mesdames Williams, Marshall, Quill, H Marshall. J. Barclay, K. Trask, W. Little, R. Mulhns, T. Katene, M. Teiti, T. Parata, Cnarman, Tnrvey, H. Eastwood, G. Harper, D. Young, J. Wall, Eev. Father Griffin, Messrs. J. F. B. Stevenson, E. Sinclair, Caughley; management committee, Mesdames L. Swainson (chairwoman), E. Wi Neera, B. Parata, J. Solomon, T. Eel, B. Pohio, Miss C. Parata; club captain, Mrs. T. Eei; hon. treasurer, Mrs. B. Pohio; hon. secretary, Miss C. Parata; delegates to the Wellington Ladies' Hockey Association, Mr. J. Solomon and Miss C. Parata; coach, Mr. J. Solomon.
