NAVAL RATIOS
JAPAN WANTS PARITY NOTICE TO BE SERVED TOKIO, January 27. Replying to interpellations in the Diet, tlio Minister for tho ,Navy said that Japan intends to serve notice on tho Powers within the year demanding a change in the ratios of the Washington and London treaties, as isho considers that parity is necessary for the purposes of defence.
