A GENEROUS ACTION
After the Marama had left Sydney on her last trip, a stowaway was discovered aboard. Realising that tho man was a New Zealander, and that ho was destitute, tho passengers took up a collection, ana sufficient was raised to pay his fare. The erstwhile stowaway finished the journey as a bona fide passenger, and landed in Wellington this morning a free man.
