NEW YORK, January 26,
That while nearly 400,000 unemployed, many destitute, are anxiously awaiting an opportunity to get C.W.A. work, that organisation is distributing food tickets representing about 100,000 dollars to 42,000 persons now on relief work and getting from 3 dollats to 13 dollars a day, was revealed here today in farther investigation into alleged graft, corruption, and mismanagement within the Administration of Works.
Minor officials "were unable to explain why both wages and charity were being given to the same people while others were suffering from hunger and cold.
