STRANGE STORY OF TWINS

-Twin baby girl* have been baptised as boys at White Cross, Hexham. Shortly after they were bora the family • was told that the babies were 'twin boys, and suggested that* as they did not look healthy they should be christened immediately. According to th(i "Daily Express" the Rev.'J. if. Reid was summoned to the house, and performed the christening ceremony, giving the babies the names of "Walter and Robert." Later, to the astonishment of the family, it wasi discovered that the twins were girls. The minister was called back;to tho house. He explanied that he could not perform, tho ceremony over again, but h$ gave the children extra names, Ethel and Edith, and added the letter "a" to Robe'rf. Tho children, who proved to be normally healthy, will go through life with tfic liaines Walter Ethel and Roberta 'Edith.
