SWIMMING CARNIVAL.

Next Saturday afternoon at Te Aro Baths the Worser Bay Swimming and Life-saving Club will hold its annual carnival. This year the club is fortunate in being allotted four of the Wellington championships, in addition to the Walker and Hall Flying Squadron race. On the programme; there/are' also inter-club handicap events, diving, and the ever-popular relay, old-timers v. present-day members). The game of polo will be "Possibles v. Probables, after which the team to represent Wellington at the national cham-i pionships will be selected.
