ONE SHARK FEWER
While approaching Station Pier, Port Melbourne, on January 17, tho Union Company's liner Monowai, from. New Zealand, rammed a large shark, impaling it on her stem. The impetus of the ship through the water kept tho shark ,in place until the Monowai drew into her berth, when it sank.
