ROW IN RESTAURANT
PROPRIETOR ASSAULTED
An argument which arose, in: a Willis Street restaurant last night between the proprietor , and two men resulted in the appearance of one^of the men, James Allen O'Malley, aged 26, a labourer and barman,, before Mr. W. F. Stilwell, S.M., today, on a charge pi assaulting the proprietor, E. J. Harris, and of obtaining a meal, valued ,at-ftd, by fraud. He pleaded not gililty to the latter offence but was sentenced, to one month's imprisonment. : O'Malley pleaded guilty to the assault and was remanded for a week on the application of, i?enior-Sergeant ; J. Dempsey, who said it was alleged that O'Malley sere wed-the. heel of his boot in Harris's eye.
