LATE MR. W. COUDIE
Keferring to the sudden death of Mr. W. Goudie, the well-known Wellington singer, Mr. B. H. Nimmp, president of the Wellington V.M.C.A., stated yesterday that the V.M.C.A. and the cqm: munity as a whole has sustained a great, loss. His genial personality and his sterling qualities of character would be greatly missed in V.M.C.A.' circles. Mr. Goudio had don©'great work for tho V.M.C.A. during the war period, and had entered into the organising of concert parties with enthusiasm* being responsible for assisting the Y.M.O.A. to brighten the lives of the men during those difficult days. He was undoubtedly one of Wellington's leading vocalists. His sudden, death had deprived Wellington of a worthy citizen and one who at *U times gave cheerfully of his best for his fellowrmeni
