LABOUR M.P.'S TRIBUTE
(By Telegraph.)
(Special to the "Evening Post,") , ; DUNEDIN/This Day. At the civic reception to the Prime Minister, Mr. J. W. Munro, Labour M.P. for Dunedin North, said that, although h& was in a different political camp from that of the Prime Minister, he wanted to say he recognised that Mr. Forbes and his colleagues believed, in the most complete sincerity, that the policy they were pursuing was the very best one for New Zealand at, the time. When there was some talk about "feathering one's nest," he would like to say that in his experience of public life, New' Zealand had the cleanest politics possible. There -were some who blamed Cabinet for the present condition, but Cabinet honestly believed it was carrying on in what it thought the best interests of the country.
