(Received January 26, 3 p.m.) VICTORIA, January 2*. On instructions from Ottawa, 1600 boxes of Ne^v Zealand butter - arriving Sbysthe Aorangi are being held in bond (by the Customs. The importing wholesalers stated that they could: sell- JJeir Zealand butter cheaper than Canadian after paying the five cents :i pound duty and three cents a pound excise. It is reported that Ottawa is holding up the- butter, until the Canadian surplus is used up. ' :
