The Executive Committee of the Labour Party yesterday declared its opposition, to independent or group dictatorship whether from the Eight or from the Left and its adherence to the system of Parliamentary democracy. Tho resolution adds that tho executive "holds that the best and, indeed, the only tolerable form of Government for this country ia democratic Government with a free electoral system and an efficient Parliamentary machine for reaching effective decisions after reasonable opportunities for discussion and criticism! In so far as any statements which are at variance with the declared policy of the party on this question have been or may be made by individuals, these are hereby' definitely repudiated by the National Executive."
