At the Sydney -wool sales today 11,535~ bales; were offered, of which 10,138 bales were sold at auction, and 1713 privately. At today's closing auctions there was strong general competition, with a keen demand- by Germany and Japan.1 Values generally were fully equal to late rates. Greasy merino made 3094df0r nine bales from Armidale. The average price of wool1 for the first three days this weefc was £24 18s per bale, or 20.6 d a lb. LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE PRICES.
