MASTERTON SHOW.
The Masterton Show will be held on February 20 and 21 and the Bam Fair on February 22 and 23. The entries 10 far to hand are practically all from new exhibitors. There are numerous cups and trophies open for -competition, valued at £600 and there are classes for practically, ■alUkmda of stock.. There is al«o a poul« try and pigeon show and kennel claim for all breeds of dogs. The fat cattle should 1 again be a feature of the' show. Me**r». T. Borthwick and Sons' are prepared to take over all bullocks in freezing claMm and judge them again at their Waingawa i works for further prizes of JCS, £3 ; and; £2 for best pairs of hindquarters suitable for the chilled beef trade. The rinf event* , include new events such as dual juiw&si and a handy hunter event over *,' ratftr I tricky course.
