(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TAUpANGA; This Day. ■ A four months')old baby,, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ammunson, of Gate Pa, was killed. ia the Strand yesterday afternpdh. The mother came to' town and made purchases which she placed in a car, leaving the baby in grass under a palm tree. A cream lorry drove into the park, the driver being unable to see the baby, which apparently was crushed by one of the wheels. The. child's death Was instantaneous.
