SOUNDS CRUISE.
The peaceful waters of Port Hardy, IVUiville Island, will be unwontedly stirred on Tuesday next when the Marama arrives from Wellington, on a cruise of the Sounds district, and disembarks'her passengers irito launches and boats for fishing, cruising, bathing, etc. Early next morning the vessel will make her way to Queen Charlotte Sound, calling at Ship Cove, where a landing will be made to inspect the monument which, with the bush reserve, commemorates th>3 calla o£ Captain Cook at the little, haven. Further visits will be made in the course of the crujse to the head of Queen Charlotte Sound and Kenepuru Sound, and to Tennyson Inlet, the most heavily-bushed part of Pelorus Sound. Here will be held the gala dinner and fancy dress ball, • which will mark the last night of the cruise. The ilarama -will leavo Wellington for the trip at 7.30 p.m. on Monday next, getting back on the morning of the following Friday, February 2.
