I listened to "Tannhauser" with a num ber of others, and wo were all thrilled by the performance. To tuin an announcer loose ott top of such bcauti ful music would, in my opinion, be a crime Tho whole broadcast was well ananged, and was a musical tieat in ovory tv ay. The description given i\ \ adequate and well done? , I have vrvid recollections of "Cai men" being spoiled by o\cr-announc ing. Probably the complaints lecoivoil on that occasion piompted tho bond to amend tho method of prCßCiita tion —I am, etc, WAGNERITE
