TREATMENT OF LOGANBERRIES

The fruiting season of loganberries is just about over, and it".will be observed that new growths are coming away vigorously. It is at this season that all the old fruiting. canes should tie cut right back to the bafie and the new.ones be thinned to the required number to furnish the space to be covered. Plenty of room should be allowed between the plants, as they are .vigorous" growers, often making from six to eight feet or more of 'growth.

To increase the plants, peg down the tips of the young growths into the soil, where they will soon root and may be severed and planted where required in the winter.
