Mr. and Mrs. Derek Gould (Christchurch), who have been visiting Wellington for thQ Taces, returned south on Tuesday evening. , Miss Margaret Shand, who was the guest of Mrs. A. W. Blair, at Rotorua, during tho holidays, has returned to Wellington. Miss Cara Johnston, Hobson Street, will leavo New Zealand early in March for a trip to England, where she will visit her brother, Oaptain^Kobin Johnston. Smyth, Picton, are visiting Christchurch, At Auckland on Friday many relatives and friends attended the funeral of Miss Jean Croft, a member of the teaching staff of the Tuakau School, who was killed on January 11 in an accident to a motor-coach at Gundagai, New South Wales. A service was held at St. Barnabas's, Mount Eden, where Miss Croft,had been baptised and confirmed, and where she had been a member of the choir and Biblo class.
