A..H. Turnbull and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their principals, W. Weddell. and Co., ' Ltd., London, dated January 24:—
. "Butter: Danish, 87s to BSs per cwt; New' Zealand .finest, 67s ■to 68a; 'Kangaroo' finest Australian, 62s to 645.
"Cheese: New Zealand white, 41» to 42a per cwt; New Zealand coloured, 42s to 445. Both markets quiet."
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, has received the following advice from its London house, dated January 24:—Dairy produce (quotations last week in parentheses): Butter, New.Zealand choicest salted, 68s--69s per cwt (675); market quiet. Cheese: White, 41s 6d-42s per cwt (425-42s 6d); cheese, coloured, 43s per cwt (42s 6d-'43s); market steady.
