VETERANS' GALA DAY

Veterans' Gala Day, the function which the Wellington. Bowling k Centre conducts annually for bowlers of 70 years of age and over, will be held on the Wellington' Club's green next Wednesday. A total of 120 entries haa been received, including a full rink from the Feilding Club, Mesrs. Toad, Campbell, Barltrop, and Dewe. Mr. A. L. Haylock, of the Levin Club, -will be a. player, and the local entries are representative of most of clubs in the centre. The method of determining the winners -willi be the same as in. former years, namely, the winning of a game by the greatest margin, of points.
