PIG GRADING

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMEESTON N.,: This Day. A largo and representative meeting of pig breeders and curers, including officials from . the , Waikato, carried a resolution requesting the Government to undertake the grading'of all pigs for local .consumption ■ and- export, charges to be made for this service in tho same way as for , dairy produce. Several speakers described the present grading methods as haphazard, and lacking in uniformity. A deputation was set up to; interview the- Pig Advisory Committee.with a view to approaching the Minister of Agriculture later. ,
