MARATHON RACE
The Wellington Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic and Cycling Association ib to hold a Marathon race on Saturday. February 17 next, the second and concluding day' of the New Zealand amateur athletic championships. The decision was made at the annual meetingof the centre on 'Monday, after 'letters had been read from the Utago and the Auckland Centres agreeing that the ehampiouship meeting would provide a good opportunity for the holding of the Marathon. The race is to be timed, to finish at the Basin Reserve at the conclusion of the track programme. "
