TODAY'S PROCEEDINGS

HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

■ The House of Representatives, met at 2.30 p.m. today. Mr. W. E. Barnard (Labour, Napier) gave notice to introduce the Napier Harbour Board Loans Bill. The House went into Committee on the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Bill. . On the short, title, Mr. J. A. Lee (Labour, Grey Lynn) said he. thought the best thing they could do with the Bill was to get rid of it as: early as possible. 'For that reason he had given notice of an amendment which would givo that very desirable- result. (Proceeding.)"
