DILPUSSUND BEACHED

The hulk Dilpussund, which is to be broken up, was towed from her moorings at the Patent Slip Wharf at 2 o'clock this afternoon by the Harbour Board launch Arahina. She was taken across Evans Bay, and was beached at 2.50 pirn., a little to the east, of the power station. Her position as she new lies is almost exactly that of the Tobias, another Union Company hulk, which was broken up some years ago. The steamer Admiral was also dismantled on that beach.
