The "Daily Herald" states that British chemical manufacturers are taking full advantage of the expert knowledge offered by German chemists exiled byj the Nazis. The ingredients of a large number of medicines hitherto only abr tamable in Germany have been revealed, and as a result doctors and chemists have received a list of 161 such pre* parations which are now being manufactured in Britain. "

It is found possible to produce many; preparations at a much cheaper figure than that at which they have hitherto been obtainable from Germany. As a result they are now available to th« poorest patients. .
