COMMUNITY "PRINCESS"

A. very successful party was giv«n at the Ritz yesterday afternoon in support of the Community Services Princess in the Confidence Carnival, Miss Phyllis Oliver. All proceeds for the afternoon were generously donated by Mrs. McKenzie, of the Ritz Co., to the fund. A delightful programme was presented, during which Mr. A. E. Wemyss, chairman of the Community Services Committee, introduced Miss Oliver to the patrons, who greeted her with applause. A bridge evening was also held in the evening at the Ritz, through the courtesy of Mrs. McKenzie.
