A LOT IN THE RACKET.
COMMENTS BY THE CHAMPION'S.
Tho-modern.high-grade tennis rackot is a wonderful picco of work —even science has. entered into its construction. When one considers tho terrific strain these beautifully balanced and almost fragile-looking rackets have to withstand iri match play it is marvellous how they stand up to it. Probably the most popular racket in the world today is tho new flat top used by the world's ohampidu and other leading players. It seems to be a faster-playing rackot and has a wonderful balance. Its new features are a reinforced and streamlined throat and a patented laminated frame. Most of the leading players, including the Davis Cup team, are using th,ese new flat top rackets. The world's championship at Wimbledon, the .1933 Australian championships and the 1933 French singles titk- were all won with the Oressy Wizard flat top rackets. They soem to be an improvement over the old stylo and we are always looking out for something a little better. Balance, wind resistance, distribution of weight and comfortable grip .ire the main points a good player looks for in a racket. The Australian players have inado tennis history this year and their famous flat top Alexander rackets have been a familiar sight every where.—Advt,
