WINDFALL
A parcel of old prints and photographs bought in a small shop.in South London for 2s 6d by a. working man recently was found to contain a valuabla drawing, which was sold at Sotheby's afterwards for £280. The drawing, which is no bigger than a." postcard, was identified as an .original sketch, by Gentile Bellini, and was bought by Messrs. Colnoghi, the art dealers. Tho drawing is a trough sketch made by Bellini in 1406 for his famous picture, "The Procession of the 'Belie of the» Holy Cross in the Square of Sfc,' Mark's,'* now in the Academy a^ Venice-, ' ' ••'•'.
