A RARE DISEASE

A rare tliseaso was mentioned at tlie inquest at Manchester recently 'on Gludys firown, of Blackley. She had been engaged as a hairdresser 'and tinter, but about twelve months ago her health suffered. It was stated that death was due to congestion of the liver caused by the absorption of some substitute of the benzine series. All the dyes used, it was added, contained benzine or a derivative, and they could bo absorbed through the skin or by breathing. A verSict of accidental death, was returned. No blame was attached to her firm.
