(By Telegraph.—Press Association) CHRISTCHUKCH, October 28. j ■ Following a visit by detectives to the New Zealand Cup Meeting.of the New Zealand Whippet Racing Club .at Ki'ccarton on Saturday, William Joseph' Brosnahan, Thomas Henry Owens, and John, Prisk-were arrested on charges of carrying on the business of bookmakers. They were charged with the offence before a Justice of the Peace, and remanded.
