BUSINESS VIEWPOINT
In reply to a telegram from the Minister of. Finance in connection with representations made covering the Beserve Bank Bill, the Associated Chambers of Commerce have forwarded tho following further communication to the Minister :—
"While riot disputing that the proposal has been before the country sufficiently long for the basic principles to bo considered, this executive urges that to allay public uneasiness evidence should be taken publicly from the important interests involved, and in particular in relation to tho new proposals contained in the present Bill, in respect of which proposals no adequate opportunity has been given for an expression of opinion. Wo repeat that so far no substantial reasons have boon advanced by the Government for extreme urgency."
