EARLIER PRECAUTIONS
LONDON, October 27. The "Daily Mail's" correspondent at Jaffa' says that as a protest against increasing Jewish immigration, the Arab executive has ordered a. general strike throughout Palestine on October 27, in* eluding a iaass demonstration, in defiance of the High Commissioner's prohibition. ' . This has resulted in extraordinary, police and military precautions, including additional foot and mounted British police. Two companies of the Royai Ulster Eifles are hastening to Jaffa, also armoured cars from the Air Force's Bamleh base.
