LONDON, October 27. Major J. 11. McCormich, a member of tho Northern Parliament, was going home in Belfast when he was held up by two men and ordered to put up his hands. Instead he struck one on the head with his walking-stick. A struggle followed in which threo shots were fired, ono wounding Major McCormich in tho arm, though not seriously. , ■ . Major McCormich had persistently questioned Ministers concerning measures against tho Republican Army.
