WOMAN ANNOUNCER
LONDON,'October 18. Mrs. Giles Borrett, tho first woman announcer on the staff of tho British Broadcasting Corporation, denies the report that sho has resigned. She refers inquirers to the corporation, which adheres to its decision not to_ include women on tho regular announcing staff. It will shortly withdraw Mrs. Borrett from tho staff, though she will bo heard as a programme artist.'
