"NEW ZEALAND HOLIDAY"
It would take many volumes to describe fully tho varied charms of New Zealand's wide range of scenery and to depict adequately the various pha3es of her town and rural life. But in "New Zealand Holiday" (Chapman and Hall) Rosemary Kees has endeavoured to compress everything into one volume, and it must be admitted that she has accomplished her task with considerable success. Being a New Zcalander herself, she can bring the right perspective to bear on the picture, and having the gift of a facile pen she can write in an agreeable and conversational style. "New Zealand Holiday" i 3 therefore in no sense an exhaustive guide book to tho country, but it is informative and amusing, and, with its many illustrations, should appeal to many who want to know something about this Dominion.
