BUSH LAND PRESERVED
GIFT TO AUCKLAND
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. A gift of 48 acres of land at Waitakere has been made to the City of Auckland by Mr. John Alexander, C.M.G. Tho land _is bush clad, and is part of tho area 'which was much adI mired by Sir Arthur Hill, Director of I Kew Gardens. He recommended that as much as possible of it should be preserved for all time.
