ROYAL AUSTRALIAN ' NAVY
REAR-ADMIRAL FORD APPOINTED
(Received October 28, 11 a.m.) LONDON, October 27.. Rear-Admiral Wilbraham T. R. Ford has been appointed to succeed RoarAdmiral Dalglish in the Australian command in April. Bear-Admiral Ford formerly commanded the navigation school at Portsmouth during the war. .Ho was successively navigator of the Swiftsure, Glorious, and Valiant, and was promoted captain in '1920. He held various sea commands and then became director of the physical training sports and captain in charge at Harwich. He commanded H.M.S. Royal Oalc in j 1929-30.
