HEAVY GALE IN BRITAIN
I (British Official Wireless.) (Received October 27, 11 a.m.) RUGBY, October 26. During last night and throughout today a heavy gale was experienced in tho North Sea and along the English East Coast. Hail, rain, thunder, and lightning, and a wind reaching 70 miles an hour are reported, while tho high tide was accompanied by heavy seas. Largo falls of cliffs occurred near Lowostoft today. |
