EMPLOYERS' FEDERATION

The following officers were elected at Hie annual conference of the New Zealaud Employers' Federation yesterday:— President, Mr. A. C. Mitchell (fourth term); vice-president, Sir William Hunt; executive, Messrs. A. Spencer and Colonel W. D. Holgate (Auckland)'. H. Mainland and M. J. Kennedy (Wellington), S. E. Holland (Christchurch), W. A. Flavell (Duncdin), K. McLeay (Napier), and A. le H. Hoyles (Invercargill). At the conclusion of the conference Mr. Holland moved that the conference record its sincere thanks and high appreciation of the work of Mr. T. 0. Bishop as secretary of the federation, and also commended the services of his staff. The service's of Mr. Mitchell as president were also eulogised, and it was suggested that a tour of New Zealand by the president and Mr. Bishop would be highly beneficial to the organisation.
