Major Procter is moving an amendment, demanding tho prohibition of Japanese imports into the Colonies, while wages threaten British standards of living.
Japan's bid for supremacy in the wool markets inspired an Italian motion at the Budapest Conference to consider tho competition of • countries whose working conditions were below European ones. ■
