(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, September 30. Canterbury, by 36 points to nil. easily defeated King Country today in the last challenge of the season for the Ranfurly Shield. Canterbury had more speed back and forward, and the combination was much too ■ good'for t^ visitors. Canter-
bury scored eight tries, four of them converted, and a potted goal. Canterbury, faced with weak opposition, showed f-ome of the brilliancy displayed in earlier Shield matches.
