A. R. Kingsford Photo, TOBACCO SEEDLINGS.— There has been much activity in Nelson nurseries this week with the dispatch of tobacco seedlings. One nursery has sent as many as 3500 boxes—averaging 1800 seedlings per box —this week to the tobacco-growing districts of Dovedale and Pangatotara.
