The annual meeting of.the Waimea Cricket Association elected the following officers:—Patron, 'Mr. T. Newman (reelected);'president,, Mr. J. Fowler (reelected); vice-presidents. Dr. C/oss, Messrs. W. Ilawkcs, H. Iwcholls, H. Manoy, K. Brownlie, and the presidents of affiliated clubs;; secretary and treasurer Mr. W. Max; auditor, Mr. h. C Duncan; executive committee, Messrs. G. Jordan, R. Best, E. Davies, E. .Dun, can, and R. Savage; emergency committee, Messrs. E. Duncan, J. Hildyard, and W. Max; fixture committee, Mr. t. Duncan; delegates to district association,. Messrs. C. Shuttleworth . and W. Max; selectors, senior Mr. J. lowler, junior Mr. C.'Jerdan. It was reported that Dovedale would not enter teams in the competitions tins year and that the Richmond Club desired to join the Nelson City Association. With the number of senior teams reduced by two there is a probability that the association will not be able to run a senior competition. In this, event the Brightwater Club will also make application for entrance to tho city association's competition.
