Cabled advice has this day been received by New Zealand Mines, Limited, from Alluvial Gold, Limited, that two field engineers with boring plant are arriving in New Zealand by the Wanganclla tomorrow. Major A. .1. Peterson, mining engineer, will also bo arriving at an early date. Active boring operations will commence on the Nevis properties of New Zealand Mines, Limited, immediately. DAWN OF HOPE. Dawn of Hope, Thames, reports cleaning out level on Golden Age reef going hilhvard, 30 feet to the face. It is proposed to drive a few feet on the icef before starting to rise, to intersect the new, leader between the Golden Age reef and the tributcr's block.
