POLICE CHARGE CROWD
LONDON, September 27.
Following a Republican meeting in O'Comiell Street, Dublin, a crowd of several thousands attacked tho premises of an English brewer nearby, hurling stones through the windows.
The arrival of police reinforcements resulted in a pitched battle, the police, with drawn batons, repeatedly charging tho crowd. . .
people leaving; the theatres and cinemas rushed iiito shops.
When tho street was cleared fifteen young men wore found lying injured and wero sent to hospital.
