The umpires are preparing for the new season, and present members and intending mem"bcrs are notified that the annual meeting is to be held in the- Gas Company's premises, Courtenay Place, on "Wednesday, September 6, at 7.30 p.m. New members joined up last season, but the association, still aiming at being able to appoint umpires for all matches, is looking to' more "enthusiasts to undertake, umpiring in an official capacity next season.
