CURTAILED ROAD SERVICE

At last night's meeting of the Foxton Chamber of Commerce a resolution vras carried, protesting to the Minister of Transport against the decision of the Transport Appeal Board restricting the road passenger service between AVangajiui and Wellington, on the ground Hint , (he main highway between Turakina and Levin is too distant from the railway and the curtailment is against the 'public interest.
